Genting Malaysia Berhad ("Company") today acquired 500,000 shares for a total consideration of RM2,155,663.53 at an average price of RM4.3113 each, inclusive of transaction costs. The share buy-back was made pursuant to the approval given by the Company's shareholders on 10 June 2015.
The resulting cumulative net outstanding treasury shares of 269,107,400 represent approximately 4.53192% of the Company's issued and paid-up share capital of 5,938,044,648 ordinary shares as at 25 May 2016.
