Outcome

The Board of Directors of Malayan BankingBerhad (the "Company") wishes to announce that all the resolutions set out in the Notice of Annual General Meeting ("AGM") dated 14March2018and tabled at the 58th AGM of the Company held today, 12April 2018were duly passed by the shareholders of the Company at the said AGM.

All the resolutions were voted by poll and the results of the poll were validated by Messrs. Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services Sdn Bhd., the independent scrutineers appointed by the Company.
