The Board of Directors of Malayan BankingBerhad (“Company”) wishes to announce that all the resolutions set out in the Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting (“EGM”) dated 16March2017and tabled at the EGM of the Company held today, 6April 2017were duly passed by the shareholders of the Company at the said EGM.

All the resolutions were voted by poll and the results of the poll were validated by Messrs. Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services Sdn Bhd., the independent scrutineers appointed by the Company.
