PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF 61.20% EQUITY INTEREST IN OPUS INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANTS LIMITED ("PROPOSED DISPOSAL")

We refer to the announcement dated 16 October 2017 in relation to UEM Edgenta s notice of Extraordinary General Meeting ( EGM ) dated 17 October 2017 in relation to the Proposed Disposal ( Notice of EGM ).

On behalf of the Board of Directors of UEM Edgenta, we are pleased to announce that the shareholders of UEM Edgenta have, at the EGM held today, 2 November 2017, approved and passed by way of poll, the ordinary resolution pertaining to the Proposed Disposal set out in the Notice of EGM dated 17 October 2017. The poll was validated by Commercial Quest Sdn Bhd, the independent scrutineers appointed by the Company.
