PROPOSED ESTABLISHMENT OF A SHARE GRANT PLAN OF UP TO FIVE PERCENT (5%) OF THE ISSUED AND PAID-UP SHARE CAPITAL OF SCIENTEX BERHAD ("SCIENTEX") FOR THE ELIGIBLE KEY MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEES OF SCIENTEX AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES ("PROPOSED SGP")

We refer to the announcements dated 29 October 2013, 31 October 2013, 14 November 2013 and the Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") dated 25 November 2013 ("Notice") in relation to the Proposed SGP.

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that the ordinary resolution as set out in the Notice was duly passed by the shareholders of the Company at the EGM held on 17 December 2013.
