We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 30 November 2016, 14 December 2016, 19 December 2016, 6 January 2017, 11 January 2017, 8 February 2017 and 10 February 2017 in relation to the Proposed Privatisation. Unless otherwise defined, the capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in the earlier announcement dated 19 December 2016.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Ekowood, AmInvestment Bank wishes to announcethat the non-interested Scheme Shareholders had approved the Proposed Privatisation by way of poll voting at the Court Convened Meeting of Ekowood held on 6 March 2017.

The results, which were validated by Boardroom Business Solution Sdn Bhd, the Independent Scrutineer, are as follows:-
