The Board of Directors ofKawan Food Berhad ("KAWAN") is pleased to announce that the resolutionset outin the Notice of the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") dated 2 August 2017wasduly passed at the EGM of KAWAN held earlier today.

The resolutionwasapproved by way of poll at the EGM. The resultof the poll were validated by Malaysian Issuing House Sdn Bhd, the Independent Scrutineer appointed by KAWAN. The details of the poll result isset out in the attachment.
