We refer to the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM" or "Meeting") of AWC Berhad ("AWC" or "the Company") held today at 2.00 p.m. at Dewan Berjaya, Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort, Jalan Bukit Kiara, Off Jalan Damansara, 60000 Kuala Lumpur.

In consideration of the latest material development in relation to the proposed Ordinary Resolutions 1 , 2 and 3 as set out in the Notice for convening the EGM dated 21 May 2018 ("EGM Notice") as announced by AWC this afternoon, the Board of Directors of AWC ("Board") wishes to announce that the EGM was adjourned to a later date to consider and approve all the proposed Ordinary Resolutions as set out in the EGM Notice.

The adjourned EGM was consented by the shareholders at the Meeting and accordingly, the Board will make the necessary announcement pertaining to the date, time and venue of the adjourned EGM in due course.
