17the AGM minutes

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS SESSION Appendix I
Q1: Shareholder :
CFO :
Page 44 of Annual Report registered RM49 million of cash and cash equivalents.
Were they placed as FD?
These were deposited with short term money market which offers slightly higher
interest rate than FD coupled with term flexibility as short as 1 day.

Q2: Shareholder :
CFO :
Page 30 of Annual Report under Business overview. Is the Company’s vision to
become a leading integrated manufacturer precast concrete products in SEA being
taking place?
At present it is not easy to send products all the way overseas. We can expand
overseas by setting up factories there. However, will only do so when the
opportunity arises and is viable. We are always on the look- out for opportunities.

Q3: Shareholder :
ED :
How about to East Malaysia? What are the main products supplied to Sabah?
Noted that Pan Borneo has a big project there. Can consider places like Tawau,
Kota Kinabalu in Sabah.
We are already supplying our products to Sabah and Singapore. In the past we
have sent products to Brunei and Australia. Pipes are the main products being
supplied to Sabah.

Q4: Shareholder :
CFO :
Noticed that profit increased for the past few years. What is the prospect in 2018?
Our financial year ends on 31st March. Now we have just past 1st quarter and the
results are not announced yet. It is difficult to predict whether the results can match
that of preceding year. We will certainly strive hard to achieve what we did last
year.

Q5: Shareholder :
INED :
Is there any future plan to diversify into USD by exporting to Saudi, UAE and
Thailand?
US currency may seem strong now, but ringgit may be resilient to rebound. The
size and nature of the products may be difficult to export overseas.

Q6: Shareholder :
CFO :
INED :
On page 44 of the Annual Report, it registered trade receivables of RM48 Million.
What is the collection risk and what is the percentage of top 3 customers?
Normal credit term is 60 days. Normal collection usually ranges from 60 to 100
days. Normally our 3 major customers will make up around 5% of our trade
receivables
The trade receivables are based on a large customer base.

Q7: Shareholder :
CFO :
What products give the highest margin and most saleable? Do our competitors get
SPAN certification?
Tailored-made products give higher margins. We produce a large mix of products
with big range of differences in margin.
ED : The SPAN website states the list of companies that are certified.

Q8: Shareholder :
CFO :
ED :
MD :
What is the steel price impact on profit margin? Is OKA Steel Sdn Bhd being set
up to produce steel? What is the percentage cost of steel in relation to raw
materials?
Selling price will increase if there is a significant increase in raw material prices.
OKA Steel Sdn Bhd is for the purpose of producing certain steel material that we
use.
We will sell them when we have excess capacity. The percentage cost is around
20%. We have direct account with a number of steel suppliers.

Q9: Shareholder :
ED :
Any chance of getting China projects? How about the Ulu Langat project?
It is too early to comment on this. We are already supplying to some projects by
China contractors. Ulu Langat project is an on-going project.

Q10: Shareholder:
CFO :
Resolution no. 9 is on ESOS. When does the scheme expire? Is there any plan for
another new scheme?
The present scheme is for a duration of 5 years, with provision to extend for another
5 years. It expires in January 2020. Since the current scheme is still on-going, it
is too early to plan for another new scheme.
Notes:

CFO : Chief Financial Officer
ED : Executive Director
INED : Independent Non-Executive Director

The increasing steel price might put the pressure on the profit margin if not hedge properly in coming quarters.

Nevertheless, I believe the coming budget 2018 might be beneficial to OKA from the IBS perspective in longer term

Revenue continuous decreased last 2 quarters, business prospect look is bad if this coming quarter show lower than previous quarter. Higher metal price limited the higher profit margin too.

Fund manager Gogogo! Push above $1.60 for higher ESOS REFERENCE PRICE.
不要让老板买更多便宜货。Not let them take it for granted.
If want cheap price, pls issue bonus shares.

Fight against conspiracy of acquiring cheaper ESOS.

Good job ! Fund managers keep pusing up the prices, now the 30 days average price is $1.58.

New batch of ESOS issue price is referring the average price and 10% discount on it.So push higher the prices to revise upward the coiming new ESOS issue price.

My point of view on the Esos is to make executive pay a help, not a hindrance.

I am not against ESOS issues. The ESOS in the big company reflect the fortunes of the overall corporate, not the performance of the specific business that the management team are running. The executives typically award those options on top of already substantial pay packages such as remuneration fees, giving executives much to gain but little to lose.

What I am viewing those options in the small company such as OKA, can bring two immediate effects which resulting difference in behaviors are clear. Firstly they have a very different discipline in how they spend money, their mindset will be "if it doesn't grow the business, why would you do it?".

Another effect that the people will going to just try harder. The behavior is exactly what all companies need in a downturn economic environment.

But ,but The ONG families pressing down the share prices so hard every year end when ESOS REFERENCE ISSUE REFERENCE PERIOD is hurting the other long term shareholders interest made me getting flustered.

Actually the ONG families can create a win win situation if they want to enjoy cheap tickets. They
Can issue bonus shares to lowering the price.
