Hardminer supergreat, the company's limestone division started to contribute revenues already in the previous quarter Q1FY17 in the form of receivable royalties amounting to RM 450,000. The Fast food franchise division still delivered a satisfactory 5.74% net profit margins resulting in RM 607,000 of net profit. I took notice that they have increased a few more pezzo registered franchise outlets after the previous quarter which you can count on their pezzo website.

Bornoil's mining division remains the best performing division with a 79.65% net profit margin in the latest quarter. The main reason for the skyrocketing profit margin within the division as recorded is due to the absence of "XAU Gold spot contract trading transactions" being recognized as revenues but instead measured as fair value through profit & loss in accordance with MFRS 139.

bone since we are talking that Gold is the main catalyst that should drive the price up, but interestingly nothing can move the share price beyond 0.1, it can't even stand on 0.105, so just curious what is happening

Hardminer Awaiting the Q2 announcement in the next 1 or 2 weeks time. I believe its XAU Gold spot trading segment is making a lot more profit to be reported soon since the Gold spot price has risen to the recent high of USD 1357.50 on 08-Sept-2017.

In the 3 months yet to conclude on the XAU trade profitability, Bornoil's XAU gold spot trade inventory has the following ascending cumulative number of contracts.

Apr 2017: 45,600 oz

May 2017: 56,600 oz
Jun 2017: 66,000 oz
Jul 2017: 78,000 oz

78,000 - 45,600 = 32,400 oz of XAU contracts increased at the end of the July 2017.

From the May to July 2017 period, the XAU spot price recorded the lowest and highest prices of 1205.02 and 1296.06 respectively. Today's XAU spot price stood at USD 1331 at the moment of writing. Either this upcoming Q2 or both Q2 & Q3 would record higher profits just from trading of the XAU gold spot contracts. So we will see if that is the case.

Hardminer bone, I believe the major catalyst would be its limestone marble blocks export business & its intention to build and operate an integrated cement production plant in the east coast of Sabah where the state government is in dire need of such facility to spur the economic growth of eastern Sabah.

North Korea's launch of a ballistic missile that flew more than 2,300 miles before falling into the Pacific Ocean is a "clear and unequivocal" message to the United States that Pyongyang has the ability to strike Guam.

The distance from Pyongyang to Guam is a little over 2,100 miles and North Korea identified it as a target in early August, threatening to launch four Hwasong-12 intermediate-range ballistic missiles into waters close to the island.

The intention, according to analysts, was to demonstrate that Pyongyang would have no compunction in the event of war from targeting the resort island in order to interrupt air attacks on the North as well as efforts to reinforce ground forces on the Korean Peninsula.

chan9301 Gold trading is a risky business. Can Bornoil or anyone can perpectually always buy low and sell high? Irrespective that they are professional.it would be better and realistic, that Bornoil could expedite their Phase 2 gold mines operations and hit more gold veins, in short, to increase many folds , their gold output at this given period of gold bull market.cheers

Hardminer Everything carries risks to certain degrees but the price of Gold spot won't just plummet for no reason and it's definitely will still have its value over the time period. A time proven medium that preserves wealth for centuries is a strong testament. What are the other uses of gold besides preserving one's wealth?

chan9301 Hardminer...most of the positive catalysts of Bornoil have been explained by your goodself. TQ. The lure of Bornoil is the golds and diamonds prospects, if ever, Bornoil shares climb up the chart , it will be big findings in Bornoil gold n diamond mines. There is no such thing as "sure win" in this world...lets hope. I was tempted to invest in Bornoil as the Chinese left their homeland and gone to USA for gold prospects, dreaming to make it rich or become wholelife coolie. Will we make it?? Positive indications are here. Cheers.

Hardminer To put things into perspectives, it may be safe to say that gold mining has never been intended to be envisioned as the ultimate core business for Bornoil. The reason I'm saying this is due to the fact that of all the 67 land titles (land-based assets) owned by Bornoil, none are actually related to gold mining. If u look through the long list of the brown/green assets it owned, all are located in Sabah. Ironically, none of it are related to gold mining but instead are limestone mining and tourism based. It's important to point out that quarry lands with major limestone reserves remain to be the crown of the jewels totaling with 94.04 acres with 7 land titles.

In fact, Bornoil does not own but operate the 3 major gold mines within Pahang under concessionary and joint-venture agreements. Limestone mining is actually going to be the main core business of the group. Therefore, if my speculation may be correct to certain extent...Bornoil may sell the fast-food (FF) franchise division or even de-merge & listing it under another entity if they could grow its multiple FF brands big enough with commendable FF market share just like BJFood. That is still a speculation but what's a sure thing is that limestone mining is already set in place.

Limestone being the main feedstock for cement production is crucial before any plans of setting up an integrated cement plant. Sabah has been experiencing earthquakes and tremors even still continuously occurring up to recently. Only after u did proper inspections on buildings especially those in the west coast capital Kota KInabalu - Ranau areas, u will find many buildings started to have structural problems with cracks or fractures. This is not a good sight for most residents or occupants therefore it's just crucial for Sabah to have an integrated cement production plant to be able to supply different varying grades of cements to cater for building constructions with better grades and strength. The Sepanggar (KK) plant is only a grinder on clinker to produce portland cement which is considered a common type of cement. For these reasons, the state of Sabah is in dire need of such an integrated cement plant able to supply better grades and varieties of cement products, most importantly to sustain any earthquakes.

CMSB being Sarawak's monopolistic producer & supplier of various grades cement may supply it to Sabah but it incurs logistical premiums. This is also part of the main reason the Pan Borneo Highway must be built to enable better logistics. Until then, the Sabah government is also aware of the urgent need of such integrated cement plant especially to develop the east coast of Sabah as well. As shareholders of Bornoil, we'll see if the limestone division will be transformed into a giant monopolistic cement producer in the state of Sabah where it's the only state without such full-fledged facility.

19/09/2017 18:51
chan9301 Yes, slowly but surely Bornoil cement arms in Sabah together with Gold mines in Pahang shall bring fortunes to us. On the other hands, share trading in Bornoil is much "controlled" by syndicates. Long long Q to buy at 9.5 sen. And large selling emerges at 10 sen. Find it very hard to break this hurdle? Well QR will be out any time next week or after. Let study the figures n plot future of Bornoil, if figures are clear. Cheers
