KUALA LUMPUR: Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Dr Puad Zarkashi has once again taken a jab at the Economy Minister, saying that his criticism of the Central Database Hub (Padu) was not personal.

Puad said he had no personal grievances against the minister, Rafizi Ramli.

"Rafizi claimed that my criticism of Padu was personal. According to him, I will remain dissatisfied even if Malaysia becomes a wealthy country.

"Yet, that was his attitude when Najib (Datuk Seri Najib Razak) was the Prime Minister. Everything was wrong. Najib wanted Malaysia to become a high-income country. He, on the other hand, worked to incite.

"Now he acknowledges that the East Coast Rail Link is good. Kuala Lumpur-Singapore high-speed rail, Sabah Pan Borneo Highway, Goods and Services Tax, Tun Razak Exchange, Rapid, and 1Malaysia People's Aid bring benefits to the people and the country," Puad said in a Facebook post yesterday.

Puad questioned Rafizi's 'success' since he became the minister, especially considering that Sarawak and Sabah had rejected Padu.

"But what are his proud achievements since becoming Minister? Even Sarawak and Sabah also rejected Padu.

"I have no personal issue with Rafizi. I am just waiting for his formula to make Malaysia prosperous. I am not inciting, but criticising," Puad questioned.

Puad was responding to Rafizi's insinuation that Puad would remain discontented regardless of Malaysia's economic progress.

Rafizi said Puad's attacks against him had always been personal.

On Sunday, Puad attributed the flaws of Padu to Rafizi's failures.

According to Puad, Rafizi, known as the "Formula King," was unsuccessful with his formulas this time around.
