GEORGE TOWN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim made time in his busy schedule to attend the Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house organised by Persatuan Khalifah Jelutong here last night.

He arrived about 11pm and spent more than 30 minutes mingling with the people and savouring the food served at the open house.

Thousands of people, who attended the event, seized the opportunity to shake hands and exchange Hari Raya greetings with Anwar.

Present were Deputy Chief Minister I Professor Datuk Dr Mohammad Abdul Hamid and state executive councillors Lim Siew Khim and Fahmi Zainol.
