Professional Certifications: (i) Certified Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute (PMI), USA; (ii)Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC , USA; (iii) Certified ISO 27001:2005 - ISMS Auditor from IRCA, UK; and (iv) Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) from HIMSS, USA.

He has been involved in the ICT industry for more than 25 years predominantly in the smartcard and healthcare industry. He has implemented a number of key national projects including the Malaysian National ID (MyKad) and the Malaysian ePassport Projects. He has been involved as a consultant in Rwanda, Lebanon, Bahrain, Kuwait, Kazakshtan, Bangladesh etc. Currently he is the Group Chief Technology and Information Officer in Datasonic Group Berhad, a key solution provider in border control solutions in Malaysia. He has held key positions in various multi-national corporations such as Getronics Solutions, Compaq Computer Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).
