Dato' Ir Chew Swee Hock graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Degree in 1966.
Working Experience
Dato Ir Chew is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia; a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia; a member of the Road Engineering Association, Malaysia; and an Honorary Member of the Road Engineering Association of Asia and Australasia. He had worked as an Engineer in the Public Works Department, Malaysia since graduating from the University of Malaya in 1966. The last post held was that of Director-General of the Malaysian Highway Authority. In 1995 he optionally retired from public service to work as a freelance consultant.
