GENM is affected by service tax, the existing service tax (6%) is currently calculated as (gross gaming revenue - casino tax) x 6/106, to be increased to 8%.
Entertainment tax reductions from 25% to 5% are only limited to federal territories (KL, Putrajaya, Labuan), GENM does not benefit from the reduction.
