Working Experience
Mr Gilles Plant ("Mr Plant ") is the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO"), Asia of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited ("ANZ") and Chairman of ANZ Bank (China) Limited.

Mr Plant joined ANZ in 1997 as Global Head of Currency & Commodity Derivatives.

Since then, Mr Plant has held a number of roles, as follows -
a) Head of Trading, Global Markets and Head of Financial Markets, Europe and America in 2004.

b) Joint Managing Director, Markets in 2005.

c) Managing Director, Markets in 2007.

He was subsequently promoted as CEO North East Asia, Europe and America in January 2010.

Prior to joining ANZ, Mr Plant has 10 years of derivative trading experience in Paris, Tokyo, New York and Singapore, predominantly with Credit Suisse.
