Dato’ Syed Faisal Albar bin Syed A. R Albar ("Dato' Syed Faisal") started his career with Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in 1991 and served Price Waterhouse, San Francisco, California, USA in 1995 before returning to Kuala Lumpur in 1997. Dato’ Syed Faisal joined The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad (“NSTP”) in May 2000 as Financial Controller. He was then appointed as Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director of NSTP in 2003, a position which he held until October 2008. Thereafter, Dato’ Syed Faisal was appointed as the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Pos Malaysia Berhad in November 2008, a position which he held until December 2011. He is presently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Hong Leong Bank Berhad.
