Working Experience
He was a lecturer of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia from 1973 to 1978. He joined KPMG/KPMG Desa Megat & Co in 1977 and subsequently admitted as a partner of KPMG Desa Megat & Co in October 1985 until his retirement on 1 October 2001. During his tenure as Partner for the past 17 years, he held various positions in KPMG/KPMG Desa Megat & Co. Prior to his retirement, he was the Partner in charge of the Assurance and Financial Advisory Services Divisions.

He is currently a council member of the Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants ("MACPA") and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants ("MIA"). He is also a Chairman of the Education and Training Committee of MACPA, Chairman of Education Committee of MIA and a member of the International Federation of Accountants, Education Committee.
