He was appointed to the Board of Ark Resources Berhad on 27 September 2005 as its Executive Director. Encik Rashidi is currently the Group Managing Director/Chairman of ARK Resources Berhad.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
