From 1969 t0 1973, he was with Jabatan Kerja Raya (Public Works Department), Sarawak in Kuching Division. Subsequently, he started Contract Services Consultants and retired in 1988 as a Senior Partner. He is currently the Project Director of Jurudaya Construction Sdn Bhd, a post which he held since 1989.
