Working Experience
He joined Coopers & Lybrand Malaysia in 1987 in the restructuring and recovery department before leaving as a Senior Associate in 1989 to join PriceWaterhouse ("PwC"), Singapore, also in the restructuring and recovery department.
He left PwC in 1990 to join Arthur Andersen, Singapore before being transferred to Arthur Andersen, Malaysia in 1992 in the corporate recovery and corporate finance division.
His responsibility includes handling forensic audit, general receivership, merger and acquisitions as well as corporate finance activities such as Initial Public Offerings, fund raising exercise and debt restructuring. Following the merger of Arthur Andersen with Ernst & Young in 2002, he was the Director of Corporate Finance. In 2005, he left Ernst & Young to join Strategic Capital Advisory ("SCA") as a Partner.
In addition to his partnership in SCA, he also holds the following positions:-
1. Director in Nareco Sdn Bhd, the concession holder that operates the low cost bus services, SKYBUS that operates between KL Sentral and the Low Cost Carrier Terminal;
2. Business Adviser for MSC Trustgate.com Sdn Bhd, one of the 2 Digital Certification Authority in the country; and
3. Director for Special Projects in Ferrier Hodgson MH, one of the leading Insolvency Firm in Australia and in Malaysia.
