From 1995 to 2000, he was with PricewaterhouseCoopers, an international firm of chartered accountants where he qualified as a Certified Public Accountant. At present, he practice under his own firm, K.H. Chong & Co., Chartered Accountants. He holds practicing certificates from the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountant (MICPA) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He has considerable experience in the profession having provided audit and business advisory services to an extensive range of clients from Public Listed Companies, multinationals and medium sized companies. He also involves in academic development by lecturing accounting and taxation courses in local Universities, a private college and one of the speakers for Corporate Directors Training Program conducted by Companies Commission of Malaysia.
