He held the position of an Accountant in several private limited companies involved in telecommunications and manufacturing of industrial plastic containers and the trading of industrial chemicals. He has also served as an Accountant and was later promoted to the position of Financial Controller for Public Mutual Berhad (formerly known as Kuala Lumpur Mutual Fund Berhad). He then joined as General Manager and subsequently progressed to Chief Executive Officer of TA Unit Trust Management Berhad. Thereafter, he was involved in several businesses which included international trade, e-commerce and travel agencies. He is currently a businessman running an engineering company he founded. He also sits on the board of Tejari Technologies Berhad and AIC Corporation Berhad as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
