Encik Yahya obtained his Bachelor of Science (Finance) from Southern Illinois University and MBA from Berkeley, United States in 1982 and 1984 respectively.
Working Experience
Encik Yahya worked with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Malaysia from 1977 to 1979. In 1984, he joined the United State Leasing Corporation, San Francisco, United States as a Financial Analyst. In 1986, he worked as a Consultant with Alexander Proudfoot Productivity Consultant Pte Ltd in Singapore. He also held the position of Investment Manager and Executive Director for Selangor Foundation and Grand United Holdings Berhad respectively from 1988 to 1993. He was the Fund Manager cum Associate Director for Spectrum Asset Management Sdn Bhd, a licensed fund management company. He is also a Certified Financial Planner.
