Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Financial Analysis from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom.

Started career in the insurance industry in 1989 with Malaysian National Reinsurance Bhd & American International Assurance Co. Ltd in 1990. Joined Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) Group in 1991. During the 15-year tenure, involved in major development of the Exchange, including implementation of the Central Depository System (CDS), Human Resources Information System, CDS Compensation Fund, Clearing Guarantee Fund, setting up the new Exchange for high-growth companies (MESDAQ), demutualization of KLSE & Initial Public Offerings & listing of Bursa Malaysia (Bursa). Left Bursa in 2005, with the last position of Head of Exchanges. Whilst with the KLSE Group & Bursa, held Board directorships in MCD Nominees Sdn Bhd, KLSE Information Services Sdn Bhd & Labuan Financial Exchange Incorporated (LFX). Appointed by the Minister of Finance as member of the Central Depository Advisory Council, Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority (LOFSA) as member of the LFX Exchange Committee & the Securities Commission as member of the Licensing & Examination Advisory Panel. Joined VADS Bhd in 2007, subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia as Chief Financial Officer. Left VADS after completion of the privatization & delisting of the company from Bursa. Joined Maybank Investment Bank Bhd in July 2009 as Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer, responsible for financial, administrative, legal, information technology, risk management & stockbroking operations of the bank. Started a Business Process Outsourcing Consulting company, IX.Com Sdn Bhd, in 2010, providing consultancy & training for call-centres. In 2013, joined Prime Mantle Corporation plc, an investment holding company in the Republic of Ireland, as Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer. In 2014, joined ScopeTel Sdn Bhd, providing VSAT services to the oil & gas industry, as Chief Operating Officer. Set up FNW Capital Partners, a network of veteran capital market professionals in 2016. Currently the Deputy Chairman of FNW
