Mr. Iqbal holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Economics from University of Minnesota, USA in 1983.

Mr. Iqbal commenced his career in the Accounts Department at Al Yousuf L.L.C and after a two (2)-year stint, he was entrusted with the task of making a success of the company’s computer business which is now one of the biggest players in the region, with offices in six (6) countries, covering Arab states, the Levant, North Africa and parts of Asia.

In 2006, Mr. Iqbal became president of Al Yousuf L.L.C, a company that for more than 57 years that has grown into a multi-million Dirham conglomerate covering operations ranging from motor vehicles, boat manufacturing, auto rental, real estate development, home electrical appliances, computer operating systems, electronics and taxi businesses.

He is actively involved with numerous social and environmental causes – both at a personal and professional level
