She is a Founder/Managing Partner of Messrs Khalek Awang & Associates, a legal firm which was set up in 1998 wherein her areas of practice covers Corporate, Commercial and Business Contracts, Propertym Real Estate and Conveyancing, Corporate and Consumer/Retail Banking (Conventional & Islamic), Broadcasting, ICT, Multimedia, and Company Secretarial Practices.
