He graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) degree with Distinction from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia (now known as RMIT University) and obtained his Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree with Distinction from the University of Hull, United Kingdom. He is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants ("MIA") and also a Certified Practising Accountant ("CPA") of CPA Australia.
Working Experience
He started his career with the Arab-Malaysian Corporation Group as an Executive before moving to Chase Manhattan Bank Berhad as an Analyst in Corporate and Investment Banking. In 1995, he joined the investment research industry and has worked for several stockbroking and research firms. He was a Head of Research in Sarawak Securities sdn. Bhd. and OSK Research Sdn. Bhd. He was a pioneer Consultant when he joined the Minority Shareholders' Watchdog Group in early 2002. He joined the Greenyield Group in 2002. He is also a director in VC Corporate Services Sdn. Bhd. involved in the provision of insurance services.
