Puan Azian binti Kassim has 27 years of experience in fund management and capital market.  She possesses extensive investment management experience and a significant of risk management and experience with a multi-asset class fund.

Puan Azian began her career as an audit junior with Messrs Ng, Lee and Partners in 1991 and promoted to audit senior in 1992.  Subsequently, in September 1992, she joined BBMB Unit Trust Management Berhad as an Investment Officer/Analyst where she was involved in the launching and marketing of BBMB's first Islamic Fund, Dana Putra.  In 1995, she joined Perwira Affin Merchant Bank Berhad as an Assistant Manager where her role involved in managing clients portfolio of investments and conducted technical and fundamental analysis on stock market.

In 1996, Puan Azian joined RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd as a Manager.  In 1999 and 2001, she was promoted to Senior Manager and Assistant General Manager respectively.  Her primary duties were to manage and decide clients portfolio of investments with an objective to achieve optimal returns.  She was then attached to Mayban Investment Management Sdn Bhd as Chief Investment Officer in 2004 to 2007.  Overall, she was responsible for the investments and strategy for the company.  Her duties involved in developing an asset allocation matrix; identifying risk adjusted benchmarks; restructuring and consolidation of investments, identifying and developing coherent investment strategies.

In 2007, Puan Azian joined Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad as Chief Investment Officer.  She is involved in setting direction for the investment division and develops a strong portfolio management capability for the division.  She is also involved in Takaful product development and marketing.
