He was made a partner of Messrs Battenberg & Talma, Kuching in 1985 and left in 2009 when he was appointed Judicial Commissioner of the High Court in Sabah and Sarawak and left the judicial service on 27 October 2012. He was an Independent Non-Executive Director of Landmarks Berhad for the tenure from 2006 to 2009.
