Mr Chin Mui Khiong started his career with Hanafiah Raslan & Mohamad, Kuching which subsequently merged with Arthur Andersen which in turn merged with Ernst & Young. He was a Partner of Ernst & Young from 1997 until his retirement in June 2015. He has served as the Partner-in-charge of a number of companies listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, as well as private and quasi-government corporations, which include industries such as manufacturing, plantation, banking, construction, transportation, hotel, hospital, education, stockbroking, unit trust and government agencies. He has more than 35 years of professional experience in the areas of audit and business advisory services.
