Mr Mugana Kerisnan A/L Karpiah graduated from University Pertanian Malaysia with Bachelor of Agricultural Science in 1984. He served as an Assistant Manager in Sungei Kawang Estate, Pahang (Rubber); Kekayaan Estate, Johor (Oil Palm), and Pasir Gajah Estate, Kelantan (Oil Palm) from 1985 until 1997. During this period, he also undergone short stints as Acting Manager in Allagar Estate, Perak (Rubber & Oil Palm); Fraser Estate, Johor (Oil Palm); and Liew Weng Chee Estate, Pahang (Rubber). 

He served as Manager of Pasir Gajah Estate which was merged together with Kuala Hau Estate from year 2002 to 2008. Since year 2008 until present, he is the Estate Manager of Sungei Bagan Estate and Visiting Manager of Kuala Pergau Estate with a total combined acreage of 5,000 acres. His current responsibilities as Estate Manager are to oversee the estate operations, labour and staff management as well as future planning.
