Dealing with both domestic and international trade sectors at MITI, he also worked with several international bodies such as ASEAN, WTO and APEC, representing Malaysia in relevant negotiations and agreements. He was also actively involved in several national organisations such as Johor Corporation, the Small and Medium Scale Industries and MATRADE.
