Mr Lim Si Boon holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Manufacturing) (Hons.) degree from Queen's University of Belfast and a Master degree in General Management and New Venture Management from Imperial College (London). He was a non-executive and non-independent Director of Mega First Corporation Berhad ("MFCB") from 8 April 1999 to 1 February 2003, and re-joined the Board on 1 March 2003. Mr Lim is presently the Managing Director of Rock Chemical Industries (Malaysia) Berhad, an associate company of MFCB. Prior to this, he has worked as a senior consultant for an international management consulting company, A.T. Kearney. He has consulted in the areas of business strategy, restructuring and operations improvement for multinational companies and State owned enterprises in South-East Asia.

Mr Lim Si Boon's family members namely Dato' Lim Keng Kay (father), Datin Lau Kam Voon (mother) and Ms Lim Pui San @ Lim Poi San (sister) are also substantial shareholders of MFCB by virtue of their deemed interest under Section 6A of the Companies Act, 1965 in respect of 14,850,000 shares representing 6.29% equity interest in MFCB which shares are held by Bonanza Resources Sdn. Bhd.
