Mr Lim is the Managing Director of Rubber Thread Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. ("RTI"), which company is a major shareholder of MFCB. Mr Lim is one of the pioneers of RTI. He joined RTI in 1988 as Factory Manager, promoted to General Manager in 1993 and Executive Director in 1995 before his appointment to his current position in January 2001. He has more than 20 years' experience in latex thread production and has wide knowledge in rubber-based businesses. He is also currently the Vice-President of the Malaysia Latex and Rubber Thread Manufacturers' Association (MALTRA).
