Dato' Dr. R. Thillainathan was the Chief Operating Officer of Genting Berhad from 27 November 2002 to 9 September 2006 and an Executive Director of Genting Berhad prior to his retirement on 30 July 2007. Dato' has been with the Genting Group since 1989. Dato' sits on the boards of other Malaysian companies. Dato' has extensive years of experience in finance and banking and is the past President of Malaysian Economic Association.
