Prior to his completion of his studies, Mr Morvin Tan U-Jiang served as an personal assistant to his father, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun, a major shareholder of Berjaya Assets Berhad ("BAssets"), assisting him in various projects for a period of 2 years from 2008 to 2010.

Currently, he is a General Manager in Berjaya Philippines Inc, a subsidiary company of Berjaya Sports Toto Berhad, listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange. He is also the Chief Operating Officer of Berjaya Times Square Sdn Bhd, a major subsidiary of BAssets, mainly involved in overseeing the operations and management of Berjaya Times Square mall located in Kuala Lumpur.
