Working Experience
Dato’ Bornhoft joined Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad (Carlsberg Malaysia) in 1991 as its chief executive officer, and assumed the position of managing director from 1995 to 2002, after which he was the chairman from 2002 to 2005. He also assumed the position as the chief executive officer of Carlsberg Asia Pte. Ltd in Singapore from January 2003 to June 2004. He re-joined Carlsberg Malaysia as a non-executive director from 2006 to 2007. Prior to him joining Carlsberg Malaysia, he was the vice-president of Carlsberg International A/S, Denmark responsible for foreign subsidiaries and new projects.
He is also a director of the Royal Bank of Scotland Berhad and the vice-chairman of International Beverage Holdings Limited.
