Working Experience
Dato' Fauziah binti Yaacob ("Dato' Fauziah") began her career in the civil service in 1981 as Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Education and was appointed Principal Assistant Secretary in the same ministry from 1986 to 1987. She later pursued her studies in the UK and upon her return in 1989, she served as Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Finance ("MOF") until 1992. She served as Assistant Director at the Ministry of Transport from 1992 to 1993 and later was assigned to Kuala Lumpur International Airport Berhad as Senior Manager from 1993 to 1999. Dato' Fauziah returned to MOF in 1999 and was appointed Principal Assistant Director in the Budget Division until 2006. Since then she has served in various capacities in the MOF before being appointed to her current position as Deputy Secretary General (Investment) since 16 November 2012.
