YB Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Abdul Azeez is from Petaling Jaya, Selangor,  He is a Member of Parliament for Baling and also a Member of UMNO Supreme Council since 2008, as well as the Chairman of Yayasan Pembangunan Rakyat Baling, Kedah. 

He has vast experience in both business and corporate sectors, and serves as an Executive Chairman in several organisations.  Besides that, he is also an adviser to several public listed companies.  Since 2012, he holds important posts in Tabung Haji ("TH") subsidiaries, namely TH Real Estate LLC and Theta Edge Berhad as Chairman and Board Member respectively.  He is actively involved in various charitable and community activities.  In 2010, he formed Kelab Putera 1 Malaysia after the idea was accepted by YAB Prime Minister, Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak.  He has been directly involved in a series of humanitarian aid to countries that have experienced natural disasters.
