He obtained his Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) in Information Systems Engineering from Multimedia University. He then received his Master of Arts in International Studies and Diplomacy, School of Oriental and African Studies from University of London.
Working Experience
He started his career being the Chief Executive Officer of RND Chocolate Labs in 2007. He was appointed as Special Officer to the Chief Minister of Penang from 2011 to 2012. From 2013 to 2018, he was the Member of Parliament for Bukit Bendera. Prior to his appointment as a Senior Fellow in Penang Institute in 2017, he had been holding the position as Chief Executive Officer from year 2012 to 2014 and then as Executive Director from year 2014 to 2016. He was elected as State Assemblyman for Tanjong Bunga in 2018 and currently served as Penang State Executive Councillor in charge of Public Works, Utilities and Flood Mitigation.
