Working Experience
He was a Production Supervisor from year 1970 to 1980. He then joined his family's business - Phee Family Group of Companies (Packaging Industry) until 2008.

The peak of his career sets in when he was inaugurated as the Penang State Assemblyman for Bagan Jermal in 1990 - 1995. In 2004, he was elected as State Assemblyman for Sungai Puyu and elected as the Leader of the Opposition State Assemblymen. He was subsequently re-elected as State Assemblyman in 2008 and 2013. Presently he is the Penang Executive Councillor for Health, Welfare & Caring Society. He is also sits on the Board of International Environment Technologies Centre under UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme.)
