Rosnan started his chartered accountancy training with KPMG before moving on to PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Manager in Corporate Finance and Advisory Services. He then moved on to head the Finance & Corporate Services department of a Malaysian listed company engaged in property development & construction activities, where he led a successful fund-raising exercise, company acquisition, and implemented the Group's cash flow management process. Prior to his move to the UK, he was the Business Planning Manager for SapuraCrest Petroleum Bhd (now Sapura Energy) where he was tasked with appraising potential acquisition targets, and teaming up with a joint venture partner, Acergy MS (UK) Limited ("Acergy"), to build a financial model for the construction and operation of Sapura 3000, a USD200million pipe-laying, heavy lift vessel.

Rosnan moved to the UK in 2006 under the UK Highly Skilled Migration Visa and joined Acergy (now part of Subsea 7 Group). In Acergy, he introduced and implemented a new cash flow forecasting and reporting model for the Group. He started focusing more on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Partnering, and Financial Modelling & Data analytics after becoming the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Regional FP&A Manager for Herbalife Europe and subsequently FP&A Manager for the Global Telepresence Technology division of Cisco Systems (UK) Ltd. 

Upon his return to Malaysia, Rosnan was engaged as the General Manager of Finance for Perisai Teknologi Berhad where he has successfully set up the Group's Budgeting, Forecasting & Management Reporting system, led the Group's GST Implementation Project, and established standard guidelines and database to aid its project evaluation process and pricing strategies. He joined MIE Industrial Sdn Bhd as its Chief Financial Officer in March 2019 and was part of the M&A team which successfully executed the acquisition of Seremban Engineering Berhad.
