He first graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) with Honours from the University of
London, United Kingdom, in 1987. He subsequently obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice from University of Malaya in 1988.
Working Experience
He was admitted to the High Court of Malaya in 1989. He was the Deputy Managing
Partner of Messrs. Shahrizat Rashid & Lee and Head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
He has extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation and is primarily involved in the field of defamation, arbitration and debt recovery for financial institutions. He also handles work in relation to labour and employment law, probate and matrimonial matters. 

He frequently acted as counsel for various legal firms in his areas of expertise and has a broad spectrum of clients which include financial institutions, listed companies, government-linked companies and agencies.

He has brought his experience in the courtroom to the boardroom as he currently sits on the board of prominent companies which are involved in public infrastructure projects, oil and gas and other specialist businesses.
