Ms Kim So Yun ("Ms Kim") obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Korea in 2000. She studied law at Michigan State University College of Law and Santa Clara University School of Law and earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, USA in 2005. She was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2006.

Ms Kim has an extensive experience as a legal counsel in diverse areas of law ranging from the government sector to the private sector. She began her legal career in 2006 as a government attorney (Deputy Director) of Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) where she was responsible for advising the Korean Government on acquisition of foreign defence equipment and the weapon system. 

She moved to Korea Aerospace Industries, Ltd. ("KAI") which is one of the largest defence companies in Korea. While working for KAI from 2008 to 2013, Ms. Kim not only provided legal advice as a legal counsel but actively participated in contract negotiations with foreign governments and global aerospace companies such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Airbus, etc.

Ms Kim joined Lotte Chemical Corporation ("LCC") in March 2015 as a senior legal counsel and has been providing legal advice on all aspects of the corporate matters of LCC and handling legal disputes such as litigation and arbitration. She is appointed as the Board Representative of LCC, the major shareholder and holding company of Lotte Chemical Titan Holding Berhad.
