He ventured into the logistics business with Sri Bayanemas Sdn Bhd based in Penang before joining Amsteel Mills Sdn Bhd in March 1999 as a Logistics Manager. In October 2001, he was transferred to the Human Resource Department of Amsteel Mills Sdn Bhd.
