Mr Holm joined the Diethelm Group in March 1997 in Thailand and commands more than 25 years' experience in distribution and logistics in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand - including nine years with EAC Malaysia, latest as its Managing Director.

For the Diethelm Group in Thailand, Mr Holm achieved five times the business volume of the Consumer Products Unit and successfully took responsibility for other Business Units. He also spearheaded the acquisition of a major food service company.

During the past five years, retail business in Thailand has evolved faster than anywhere else in Asia. Working with large international retailers in Thailand, Mr Holm has acquired substantial experience and knowledge regarding best practice and expectations of the rapidly expanding Asian retail business.

With his extensive expertise and experience in the area of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) distribution, Mr Holm will be a major driver in the further development of Diethelm Holdings (Malaysia) Berhad's skills and capabilities and facilitate continued fast growth, particularly of the Business Unit Consumer Goods.

Mr Niels Holm has been nominated Group Managing Director of Diethelm Holdings (Malaysia) Berhad suceeding Mr Peter Heinser on 6 January 2003.
