Ms Thai Kum Foon graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree. She is a Fellow of both the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and CPA Australia and an associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
Working Experience
Ms Thai Kum Foon is currently the Chief Financial Officer(CFO) of The Straits Trading Company Limited (STC). As CFO, Ms Thai has overall responsibility of the finance and IT functions, including financial reporting, corporate finance, treasury, tax, insurance, investor relations, risk management and capital management of Straits Trading and its group of companies.

Ms Thai has more than 20 years of industry experience in financial management, corporate planning, corporate finance, treasury, tax, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations and communications, legal, and corporate services functions in various industries. Before joining STC, Ms Thai held various senior finance positions in multinational and SGX-listed companies including Jaya Holdings Limited, IM Flash Singapore LLP and CapitaLand Retail Limited.
