He is also a Council Member of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and presently serve as a member of its Executive Committee.
Working Experience
He has many years of working experience in the fields of accounting, audit, treasury and financial management. He started his career in London in 1973 and worked for more than five years with chartered accounting firms. Subsequently, he was with Price Waterhouse, Singapore from 1979 to 1982. From 1983 to 1986, he served as the Group Finance Manager in UMW Holdings Berhad and Group Treasurer in Edaran Otomobil Nasional Bhd. He joined Berjaya Group of Companies in 1987 until his retirement as Executive Director on 30 November 2007.
