He was the Executive Chairman of Malaysian Rubber Exchange & Licensing from 1978 to 1993 and the Chairman of the International Rubber Association from 1980 to 1993. He was also the Chairman on Natural Rubber Buffer Stock Committee of INRO from 1984 to 1986. He also served in the Council on Malaysia Invisible Trade (COMIT) from 1980 to 1987. Member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
